Olympus® II Multi Tier

For mail centers and presort service bureaus that process large volumes of incoming and outgoing mail, Olympus II MT is a high-speed MLOCR sorter that offers maximum throughput and flexibility. The Olympus II MT has an innovative feeder that will process a variety of mixed letter mail. The friction-based feeder design allows mail to be processed at speeds of up to 36,000 pieces per hour with DL letter mail and up to 42,000 pieces per hour with smaller envelopes.

World-class OCRs options and flexible software-based technology provide optimal read rates. The Olympus II MT processes outgoing letter mail (using postal address files) or incoming letter mail (using a customer provided database).

The four-tier design is configurable for 16 to 480 pockets with unique 90-degree or 180-degree U-turn optional configurations to give you a lot of sorting power in a small footprint. State-of-the-art printing options guarantee exceptional print quality and low maintenance. Unmatched serviceability and user-friendly design and system architecture allow for maximum up time.

Olympus® II Single Tier

For mailers with high incoming and outbound mail, the Olympus II™ uses a Multi-Line Optical Character Recognition (MLOCR) transport system to process outbound mail for presort discounts and automate inbound remittance and mixed mail at up to 36,000 pieces per hour. Olympus II™ offers more flexibility and features than any other MLOCR sorter currently available.

Capable of consolidating multiple employee databases, Olympus II™ can track temporary reassignments, routing changes, and hold mail requests.

The versatile Pitney Bowes VariSort™ Mixed Mail Sorter efficiently processes a wide range of flat mail – from clean to complex, bound printed matter such as magazines and catalogs, small parcels, polywraps and even irregular pieces – in addition to letter sized mail pieces.

You can efficiently configure it to precisely suit your mailstream requirements. Choose between feeding mechanisms – automatic, manual or both. Additionally, there are options for scanning, an inline scale and output printing. The system is modular and can be quickly upgraded at your site.
