- Plug in to an analogue telephone line (Ideally, use Fax Line)
- Press Reset Button
- Press C (Clear Button)
- Enter Reset Amount
- Do not enter the Decimal Point
- Ideally reset amounts should be kept to $10 Multiples
- Press the Enter Key
- Wait for reset OK and Avail = Credit on display
- Unplug telephone lead and use your meter as required.

- Plug in to an analogue telephone line (Ideally, use Fax Line)
- Press the menu button to get the menu mode, enter 500 and press enter.
- "Refill" will be displayed on the screen.
- Enter the refill amount: The default is $50.00, if a different amount is required, enter this in whole dollars (between $50 and $500) then press enter.

- Press Postage Refill
- Key in refill amount (in $10 multiples); press Enter
- The meter will dial the Postage By Phone® Data Centre and automatically refill the indicated amount.
- At 'insert form for reciept' prompt, insert paper or meter tape face up. Save this reciept for your records.

| To check your Postage By Phone® account balance follow the same procedure with an amount of $0. The balance will display. |
