- Turn the meter on and press the "Check Date" button
- Enter the setting combination
- Press"Enter Combination" button (under front cover)
- Enter the reset amount with a decimal point (do not key in cents) e.g. 500. No cents
- Press "Enter Amount" button (under front cover)
- Press "Postage Unused" and check that credit has been issued.

- Press the grey Status key - display indicator will move to "Enter Amount"
- Enter the reset amoun via meter keyboard followed by a decimal point
- Press the grey Status key - display indicator will move to "Enter Comb"
- Enter the setting combination via the meter keyboard
- Press the grey Status key - display indicator will move to "Ready"
- Press "Postage Unused" and check credit has been entered correctly.

- Press "Reset Amount" - no decimal
- Press "Enter"
- Press "Enter Combination Setting" key (top key)
- Enter setting combination number, press Enter
- Press "Backtrack": key until you get to the main menu - (Mail Run)
