- Connect your meter machine to an analog phone line (ie facsimile line), similar to performing a meter reset.
- You will then be prompted with the message “Data Capture to Do, C to continue”. Press the “C” button on your meter.
- You will then be prompted with the message “Data Capture, Enter or Cancel”, you should now press Enter.
Note: Do Not press Cancel, if you do so, this will not do the Data Capture, and you will not be able to continue franking your mail.
- The machine will then automatically run through the Data Capture process.
- Once this process has been completed, remove the facsimile cable from your machine, and continue to work your meter as normal.
